Match-making (કુંડળી મેળાપ):
Ordinarily, it is being observed that union between two person that is called male and female inparticular, means a likeness of their mind and soul and harmony of the styles of living. If the thoughts of the two persons are almost alike, then only can live a peaceful life. The two can be any person like mother-father, son, daughter, brother, sister, partner(in business), etc. It is a much known that a man and woman are molished before a big>marriage. The proper matching ensures a happy married life over and above, this we make the matching in many ways in our life. We use it to the harmony among the husband and wife, father and son, daughter-if it matches and if it is showing their relation would be said a greater combination. Altogether, will the horoscope of a mother and a son can be matched. By which, their mutual relations and that can be matched within the limits prescribed astronomically. The horoscopes of two brothers or a brother and a sister or between two business partners can be adjudge. It can be known from the horoscopes that what kind of relation will be fomenting among the people.

At present we match the horoscope of a son or a daughter, at the time of their marriage but the horoscopes of mother- in- law, the father-in-law, sister or brother-in-law, etc. should be matched to all reverences. If the in-laws should be matched with all the parts of the components, it is said to be secured. If the in-laws if the in-laws are financially sound but the horoscope of a girl(daughter-પુત્રી) does not match with that of the mother-in-law, or the father-in-law, the girl will be mentally unhappy and perhaps she may respected little. In the same way, if we must match our horoscope with that of the partner. Through the horoscope, it can be knew, if a business with a particular person could be undertake or not, and that it will benefit you or not. There is a chance that the partnership is broken by the other party in the future and that too with either profit or loss.

The matching of a horoscope is important not only between a boy and a girl, but wherever there is an idea of relation, the horoscope must be matched. The problem, due to any reason, can be prevented.

At present, when we match the horoscope, we give importance to the matching numbers (i.e. Gunak-ગુણાંક) only. It is believed by many that 18 (Eighteen) The marriage can be successful, But many times the number is less than 18, then married life is very happy yet, on the number of occasions, it has been observed that we get 32 points or Gunak out of 33, then even there is a difference between husband and wife and it is thus, result in divorce in the future. The reason for this is that if the plantets in the horoscopes are not matching, if there is no good relation between Lagnesh(લગ્નેશ), Panchmesh (પંચમેશ), Saptamesh (સપ્તમેશ), Vyaesh, Jupiter, Venus etc . or if the plantes – The Sun, the Moon, the Mars, the Jupiter and the Venus of either husband or wife are not strong enough, there is a breach in the married life. So, the numbers in a horoscope are important, but it is equally more important that they should be positive in the planets in the horoscopes.

The matching number between the two horoscopes is not enough. The planets also must be matched and observed and if they both, the married life of a person will be happy.
